HYALURON PEN FILLER

What is the hyaluron pen?

The hyaluron pen uses pressure technology to deposit hyaluronic acid filler into the epidermal and upper dermal layers of the skin without using traditional needles.

What is hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic acid is really not an acid at all, it is a natural sugar found in the human body. It is also the most hydrating substance in the whole world and is the main structural element of connective tissue. 1 molecule of hyaluronic acid can hold 1000 times its weight in water. Its function is to attract water and keep skin hydrated, plump and youthful. As we age our bodies decrease the amount of Hyaluronic acid and collagen fibers resulting in loss of hydration and elasticity. This causes our skin to sag and wrinkles to form. By adding hyaluronic acid back into the skin we revive collagen and promote a plumper effect.

Hyaluronic acid is naturally created in the human body so it is impossible to have an allergic reaction.

What areas can be treated?

The hyaluron pen can be used to create volume, shape and lift. The most common treatment areas include Lips, nasolabial lines, marionette lines and 11 lines. This treatment is perfect for creating a naturally plump pouty lip. Its also is great for plumping up shallow wrinkles caused from aging of the skin.

Aftercare:

Immediately after your treatment there may be slight redness, swelling, tenderness, and a mild itching sensation in the treated area, as well as some slight bruising. This generally goes away in a day or two.

Tip #1: The day of your treatment you may experience minor swelling. Do not expect the swelling to stay after a day or two. The true reflection of the final result will be once the swelling goes down.

Tip #2: How to reduce swelling after fillers
*Apply ice covered in a clean cloth to the treated area
*Stay hydrated- drink lots of water
*Eat healthy foods like fruits and vegetables. The vitamins and minerals will assist in
the healing process

Tip #3: Things to avoid
*Strenuous exercise and extreme temperatures for 24-48 hours
*Processed and fast foods
*Excess salt- it will dehydrate you
*Spicy foods
*Blood thinning medications
*Smoking
*Wait at least 24 hours before having a facial
*If you have your lips done avoid sexual activity for 24-48 hours

Tip #4: Plan ahead. If you have a big event that you’re trying to look great for make sure you give yourself plenty of healing time. We recommend allowing 2-3 weeks for your cosmetic injectables to settle in. If you are a first timer we recommend 3-4 weeks prior to your event.

Tip #5: Have realistic expectations. Do not expect to have Kylie Jenner lips when you leave your first session. It may take more than 1 session to get to the desired look. 0.5 – 1 ml of filler can be administered per area, per appointment. If additional treatments are required you may come back in 4 weeks for another treatment. Package prices are available.
